4. Puffy Muffin
Just this week, Puffy Muffin announced it will be closing one of its two Williamson County stores.
Puffy Muffin CEO co-owner Kristi Elzinga announced on Facebook that on September 23 the restaurant’s Cool Springs location off Carothers Parkway at 330 Mayfield Drive will close after about four-and-a-half years in operation.
The original Brentwood location at the Hill Center on Franklin Road will stay open, and consolidate staff.
It remains to be seen what will become of the location afterwards.
