Big numbers were put up by both Summit and Ravenwood in their District 11-AAA quarterfinal game Wednesday, a contest Summit eventually won 74-69.
Six players in total reached double digit point totals – three on each squad.
More impressive was their accuracy from long range as Ravenwood sunk 12 3-pointers and Summit seven. Ravenwood’s Case Bouldin hit six by himself on his way to a game-high 27 points.
Nick Gleason chipped in with 22 points and Zach Tudeen added 12.
Despite their effort, the Spartans were too strong.
John Carter had 23 points while Tai Carter sunk four 3-pointers on his way to 19 points.
Summit was thrilled with the victory for obvious reasons. The win advances them to a Friday semifinal game against No. 1 seed Brentwood.
Great to win the most important game of the year in front of @SummitSquad! So excited for this team to get this win tonight! #spartyparty
