Eat the Street, Franklin’s food truck-themed fundraiser, returns for its fifth run on May 5th at Bicentennial Park in Franklin. The event features over 40 food trucks, live music, and benefits the 21st Drug Court. Attendees are encouraged to bring folding chairs or blankets for picnic style dining. 313 Coney – Dan and Tonia Gibson, realized that most of their trips back home to Michigan revolved around visiting their favorite restaurants and eating the food they grew up with. At the top of this list was the Detroit Coney dog. While growing up, and then again after having their own children, they would often frequent Lafayette Coney Island after taking in a Red Wings game at the Joe. Ever since they relocated to the Nashville area in 2010, they thought about how they could “Bring the 313 to the 615”, and from that 313 Coney was born.

Bacon NationBacon Nation – Three years ago, Bacon Nation started a food truck with a philosophy “all things are better with bacon.”  They bring you a variety of burgers, wraps, and sandwiches that are savory and always with bacon.

Bajo Sexto Taco – A mobile rendition of the popular Mexican restaurant -Bajo Sexto Taco in Nashville. They offer hand-made tortillas, salsas, and the freshest ingredients.
