Eliot Pet of the Week

Pet Community Center will hold its Art for Animals fundraiser Saturday, May 6 at The Factory in Franklin.
The event will feature live and silent auctions of local and national artists, and numerous other items including trips, dinners, services and much more. Art for Animals also will include music and a cocktail buffet.

Pet Community Center is a non-profit that provides low cost and free spaying and neutering of cats and dogs at its East Nashville clinic, as well as programs designed to keep pets in homes and out of shelters.

Since opening in 2014, Pet Community Center’s spay and neuter clinic has served more than 30,000 animals in Nashville and surrounding communities and the number of cats and dogs that enter the Metro Nashville Animal Care and Control has dropped by sixty-four percent.

The Metro shelter has cited Pet Community Center as being a major reason the number of unwanted pets coming in has dropped so significantly.

Pet Community Center has developed community outreach programs, such as a Mobile Wellness Clinic, which provides low cost vaccines and microchips.

Tickets to Art for Animals are $75 for general admission. Patron tickets are $125 and include front row seating, a dedicated bar, and swag bags filled with local gifts.

All tickets are now available on the event website at NashvilleArtForAnimals.com.
