Margaret Louise Herbert, age 90, departed this life on Friday, Oct 20, 2017 while in her home at San Diego, CA.
She was born on Dec 5, 1926 to Irene Sawyer Pierce and Robert Otis Pierce, both deceased. Mrs. Herbert was a doctor’s receptionist, a Pink Lady at Williamson Co Hospital, volunteered at the Franklin Library, a Girl Scout leader, and a Methodist Youth counselor. Her passion for travel took her all around the world.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Herbert is preceded in death by her loving husband, William (Bill) H. Herbert; sister, Ruby Nell Cameron and brother, James (Buddy) Pierce. She is survived by her sister, Beulah Chunn; daughters, Peggy Bullock and husband Earnie of Murfreesboro, TN, and Susan Goad and husband Randy of Vista, CA.; grandchildren, Will Bullock, Brandon Goad, Katelynn Bullock and Blake Goad, Great Grandchild, Jacob Bullock. There are many nieces, Great nieces, Great Great nieces as well as nephews, Great nephews, and Great Great nephews. She was loved and will be missed dearly.
Graveside services will be held 2:00PM Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visitation with the Herbert family will be held 5-7:00PM Saturday October 28, 2017 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, 3009 Columbia Ave. Franklin, TN. 37064, 615-794-2289
