Liberty Mutual Insurance of Franklin celebrated 100 years in business by giving back to the community. They spent an entire work day volunteering at Montessori School of Franklin beautifying the landscape and painting. LMI connected with the school through the United Way of Williamson County.
“Ten of our employees worked to paint picnic tables, the shed and other surroundings, as well as offering landscaping support,” said Taine Sampler, Administrative Assistant for the Franklin Liberty Mutual branch and coordinator of the service day, “We had so much fun and hopefully will be able to volunteer again with MSF.”
The Franklin Branch of LMI volunteers on a quarterly basis and were a huge help to the recently located school.
“We loved having Liberty Mutual choose our school for their day of service,” said Rhonda McKay, director of the Montessori School, “Having extra hands to enhance our school helped immensely. We greatly appreciate every participant’s time and energy!”
Volunteers were a big help to the construction crew installing the new natural playground facility, helping with general construction clean-up and around the school grounds. Montessori students served a snack break to all the volunteers offering a healthy combination of lemonade and celery sticks.
