The Grilled Cheeserie has officially announced they will open their new restaurant in downtown Franklin on Tuesday, June 25 at 11 am.
In celebration of their first day of business in downtown Franklin, Williamson Inc. will hold a ribbon cutting at 10 am. Regular hours for the location will be Monday – Sunday 11 a – 9 p.
5 Things to Order at The Grilled Cheeserie
Inside the newly renovated 2,400-square-foot eatery, you will find a 72 seat shop and the restaurant’s signature retro yellow tiles and black and cream truck stripes, as well as a myriad of custom décor components. The space will also feature a new interactive kitchen model that will allow guests to see the entire process of their grilled cheese being made from start to finish.
What’s on the Menu?
The menu at the Franklin shop will include the same popular assortment of unique creations for which the restaurant has become famous, including favorites such as the Pimento Mac & Chee, complete with house-made pimento cheese, local cheddar, macaroni, tomato, and Benton’s bacon bits; the Buffalo South Melt made with pepper jack cheese, pulled organic chicken, buffalo sauce, bleu cheese aioli and pickled celery; and the B&B of Tennessee made with buttermilk cheddar, heritage bacon and seasonal jam. The “Make Your Own Melt” option will also be available for those who want to customize their order.
In addition, guests can enjoy the restaurant’s iconic milkshake bar with old-fashioned floats and milkshakes made with hand-scooped, locally spun ice cream.
The Grilled Cheeserie, created by husband and wife duo Crystal and Joseph Bogan, specializes in seasonally inspired, gourmet grilled cheese melts and nostalgic treats. Originally the concept began as a food truck but has grown to brick and mortar restaurants with the first opening in Hillsboro Village in Nashville. Franklin will be the second and an East Nashville location is in the works.
