The Preds begin their series against the Pittsburgh Penguins for the coveted Stanley Cup. Here are five local places you can still root for the Preds.
1Preds Party in the Park & Broadway Smash
The city will spread the Preds party over three areas downtown: Broadway, Walk of Fame Park and Ascend Amphitheater. Three giant screens will be placed on Broadway, which will be closed from Fourth Avenue to Seventh Avenue. Ascend Amphitheater and Walk of Fame Park will also have large screens. The Broadway site will open at 4 p.m. Once CMA Music Festival activities conclude at Walk of Fame Park, the venue will be available for the Preds party. Game 6 will broadcast live on NBC at 7 p.m.
During the parties, Predators mascot GNASH and the Predators Energy Team are scheduled to make appearances. Food trucks will be on site, and sodas and beer will be on sale. Bottled water and hot dogs will be on sale at low family-friendly prices.
Attendees are invited to bring blankets, collapsible chairs and small bags (no bigger than 12”x12”). Coolers, backpacks and large bags will not be permitted. For a complete list of house rules, please go to visitmusiccity.com/NashvillePredators.
The parties are co-hosted by the city of Nashville and the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp with the assistance of Moo TV in support of the Nashville Predators and in partnership with the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Nashville Sports Council. They are produced by the NCVC with special thanks to the Country Music Association for their support and cooperation.
2Buffalo Wings and Rings
Buffalo Wings and Rings have been having a party every time the Preds play. As always for the games, they offer 50% off all appetizers and two-for-one Bud Light / Miller Lite Drafts during the game. For the Stanley Cup now they are offering also two-for-one Margaritas and house wine. They have a bunch of big screens, wings, burgers, beers and more. They are located at 105 International Drive in Franklin.
3The Draft Room at Kings Bowl
The Draft Room at Kings Bowl by the Galleria Mall always offers a huge room with walls full of big screens, good food and good beer. You can be sure for each game each night it will be filled with other fans cheering on the Preds.
4Corner Pub Brentwood
For Brentwood residents looking for a good place to watch the games close to home, the Corner Pub is a relaxed hangout with plenty of big screens for watching the Preds. Open til midnight, they are at 710 Old Hickory Blvd. and are well known for their BBQ and burgers.
5Froggy and Jeffro’s
We didn’t forget about you, Spring Hill Preds faithful. We recommend Froggy and Jeffro’s as your spot to go out and watch the game. They have been as supportive and faithful as any Preds fans through the tough times of the past few years through the potential glory days to come. Come have a beer and a burger or nachos, at 4910 Port Royal Rd.
