1. Spring Hill Christmas Parade

 

WHAT: It’s the 11th Annual Spring Hill Christmas parade sponsored by the Kiwanis of Spring Hill and Thompson Station. Pre-parade festivities will take place at the Tennessee Children’s Home front lawn prior to the parade.  The event does state rain or shine.

2. 12 Bars of Charity

12 Bars of Charity

 

WHAT: 12 Bars of Charity makes it’s way to NASHVILLE for the first time! The event is a friendly competition amongst 8 of the areas most popular charities, split up into teams, with the ultimate goal of having the most people signed up under their cause.

12 Bars of Charity is a great opportunity for you to round up your crew, support a local charity, and have one heck of a time out on the town!

The event benefits local charities- Make-a-Wish, Best Buddies Tennessee, Gilda’s Club of Middle Tennessee, Agape Animal Rescue, Autism Speaks, Special Olympics of Tennessee and more.

3. Franklin Art Scene

WHAT:  It’s the last Art Scene for 2018 in downtown Franklin. Stop by the Visitors Center to meet New York Times bestseller Robert Hicks who will also be signing copies of his book Widow of the South.

4. Dickens of a Christmas

WHAT: The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County, TN’s 34th annual Dickens of a Christmas presented by First Citizens National Bank will return to downtown Franklin on Saturday, Dec. 8 and Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018. Dickens of a Christmas is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Some attractions will involve a small fee.

5. Mom & Me Cookie Decorating Class

WHAT: What better way to get in the holiday spirit than with creating a gingerbread man? Join Laura of Laura’s custom cookies for this fun filled holiday cookie class! This class is perfect for mom’s and students ages 8 and older.

In this class students will receive recipes for the perfect sugar cookie and royal icing and will learn basic techniques including consistencies for outlining, flooding, wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry and marbling. Laura will have a live demonstration on how to make the perfect royal icing and will help students create 6 “Sugar Drop Christmas” themed cookies with hands-on instruction each step of the way. *Designs may vary from photo.

All supplies are included for this class, including 6 cookies per attendee.
