Bluefin Sushi & Thai opened in Brentwood recently at 210 Franklin Road, Suite 700 in Brentwood. Locally owned by Dara Danh, Danh is also the owner of Koi Sushi & Thai on Columbia Pike in Franklin, which opened 13 years ago.
Newly renovated, Bluefin Sushi & Thai hopes to create a loyal following much like Koi.
Formerly, the spot was home to Corner Asian Bistro and prior to that, it was Royal Thai. The restaurant seats approximately 120 guests but a bar is under construction for additional seating complete with large TV’s to watch the game.
Danh says their lunch specials are popular with the working crowd in the Brentwood area. Bento lunches are around $10 and include a choice of chicken teriyaki, shrimp teriyaki, or beef teriyaki, served with steamed rice and your choice of miso soup or house ginger salad.
The Sushi menu is presented on an iPad with photos of the sushi and description of each item. You will find a selection of rolls from the California roll to the popular Franklin roll which is fried snapper, cucumber, cream cheese, and eel sauce.
Hours of operation are Sunday – Thursday, 11 a – 9 p, Friday 11 a – 9:30 p, and Saturday noon – 9:30 p.
A ribbon-cutting event will be held on November 14 with Williamson Inc. at noon. The public is invited to celebrate the opening of Bluefin Sushi & Thai where samples of their food will be available.
