A crash on Nolensville Road last Thursday killed a Smyrna woman.
Nikki Walden, mother of three, died after a collision with an Arrington fire truck on Nolensville Road near York Road.
The incident, which is under investigation by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, led Walden’s sister Morgan Leigh Walden to create a GoFundMe page to help her family.
“Nikki was a beautiful and kind young woman who always brightened the room when she entered,” she wrote on the page.”She leaves behind three small children, Tristan, Easton and Aralynn, her brothers, her sister and many family and friends.”
Walden’s children are all under the age of 12.
The fund’s target is $20,000, and it had raised $11,840 donated by 283 people as of Monday morning.
“Please remember anything, anything at all, that you could give, it would be a blessing for this family,” Leigh Walden wrote on the page.
