Help the Children’s Tumor Foundation Through Music and Community Walk

Cynthia Hester is the proud mother of Noah, a young man, who was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis (NF) when he was a baby. NF encompasses a set of distinct genetic disorders that causes tumors to grow along various types of nerves.  NF can also affect the development of non-nervous tissues such as bones and skin. NF causes tumors to grow anywhere on or in the body.

The Children’s Tumor Foundation is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by NF through a variety of community programs. Two of those events are happening this week—an intimate concert starring Michael McDonald will take place at the Franklin Theatre Thursday night and the 4th Annual NF Walk in Centennial Park takes place this Saturday at 10am.
