10. Panera & Visionworks, The Crossings

Dirt is moving at The Crossings at Spring Hill shopping center on what will be a two-tenant retail building. It’s being constructed on the lot between Logan’s Roadhouse and the vacant lot adjacent to Cracker Barrel

Approved in February, the 6,483 square-foot building is being built on a lot at 2012 Crossings Circle and contains 1.25 acres. Plans, submitted by GreenbergFarrow, have space for Panera on one side and a Visionworks on the other.

Panera will have a two-lane drive-thru, according to plans.

“Panera has been looking at Spring Hill for several years, so it is great news they are finally here,” Mayor Rick Graham said. “They will be a nice addition to our dining options.”

Traffic was a concern, with other businesses in the area of The Crossings, something the city is working on.

“We are working on a 2nd and 3rd entrance/exit to The Crossings, to let people know,” Graham said.
