Scenic Boating Trips: Photos of Percy Priest Lake

J. Percy Priest Lake is a great place to visit to do some sightseeing by boat. The lake is actually a reservoir in the north central part of Tennessee, formed by J. Percy Priest Dam, located between miles six and seven of the Stones River. The lake has three public areas full of woods and trails and beautiful views. Along with that, there are several wooded islands to explore, like Bear Island, Trigger Island and Ponderosa Island. This is also the site of Long Hunter State Park.

Here is a photo spread of some of the highlights of the huge 14,200-acre lake.
