Saturday, October 5, Porchfest took place at Westhaven in Franklin from 2 p – 6 p. The popular, free event attracts nearly 10,000 people who enjoy live music on porches throughout the community, a Makers Market of local artists and an array of food trucks.
The event was moved from June to October and as one musician commented he was hoping for cooler weather but the 90-degree weather lingered for the event. As everyone sought out shade, the music continued from 2 p until 6 p.
