Six Nolensville-area schools received donations from the Historic Nolensville Buttercup Festival Committee and Board of Commissioners.
Nolensville High received $5,000; Mill Creek and Sunset middle schools received $3,500 each; and Mill Creek, Nolensville and Sunset elementary schools each received $2,000.
“Mill Creek Middle is honored and thankful for this generous donation,” said MCMS Principal Jared Grindstaff. “Thank you to the Historic Nolensville Buttercup Festival, the Festival Committee and the Board of Commissioners for giving back to our schools.”
Representatives from each school were presented the donations at the Board of Commissioners meeting on August 7.
The donations will be used to purchase instructional materials, teacher supplies, signage and more depending on the needs of each school.
