A local furniture industry veteran joins forces with a national powerhouse to form gbi, the exclusive Middle Tennessee Knoll dealer, to serve the increasing demand for quality workplace design and installation.
The newly formed company brings together the strengths of Guy Brown founders, Tera Vazquez and Jay Chawan, with the experience of John Harvey, owner of OI Inc., to offer an environment where designers, architects, business owners, builders and developers can realize their vision to produce high-performance environments conducive to creativity and productivity.

This amazing lab will help the design community and our customers plan and implement their interiors projects as never before.”
gbi combines the strength of Guy Brown, owned by Vazquez and Chawan and one of the largest office supplies distributors in the country, with the experience of Harvey and his OI team to bring an entirely new approach to interior commercial project management and furnishing in the Middle Tennessee market. OI, Middle Tennessee’s leading provider of school furniture, will form the education division of the new gbi dealership.
