In honor of his son’s second birthday, Spring Hill resident and notable DJ – Dee Jay Silver and his family visited Williamson Medical Center in Franklin to make a donation.
On Instagram, Silver stated, “I’m so proud of my buddy @wake_silver_perdue He donated all his birthday toys to the kids at @williamson_med This place takes in over 1200 emergency cases a month…. all children! We hope this helps out just a little! Thank you to everyone that gave, and helped make this possible! #WSP#WakesFriends”
Williamson Medical Center added a comment to the photo posted saying, “We can’t thank y’all enough! These toys are going to help brighten so many children’s day. @wake_silver_perdue is a cool lil dude”
Silver became the first DJ to be signed to a major Nashville label. His 2013 EP, Country Club, features creative and rhythmic country mash-ups of some of the format’s most popular and beloved artists, including Alabama, Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood, Jake Owen, and Love and Theft. Silver has been touring with Jason Aldean for the last nine years and will be on the road with country artist Chris Young later this year.
