Eighteen employers with more than 550 positions to fill will attend a Goodwill Career Solutions-hosted job fair in Columbia goodwill from 9 a.m.-noon Tuesday, Sept. 29. The hiring event will be held at the Maury County Library, 211 W. 8th St.
Employers include Aid and Assist at Home, Ascend Federal Credit Union, Bios Corporation, Maury County Public Schools, Caregivers by WholeCare, Caring Hearts Home Healthcare, Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Columbia, Comcast, Daily’s and Twice Daily, Family Staffing Solutions, Global Manufacturing Services, The Job Shoppe, M+M Staffing, Clopay Plastic Products, Sitters and More, Toys“R”Us, Trojan Labor and Williamson County Schools.
Openings include bus driver, athletic coach, caregiver, cashier, assembler and machine operator, communication technician/installer, auto sales, bank teller, lab technician and other positions. Rates of pay range from $7.50 per hour to more than $52,000 per year. Available jobs are located in Maury, Williamson, Davidson and Giles counties.
Representatives from these companies will be on site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID, Social Security card or birth certificate.
Goodwill Job Fair Franklin
The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 595 Hillsboro Road, Franklin, will host a job fair for at least five employers from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
