Neighborhood Feature: Avalon Community

Avalon Neighborhood

Located in the heart of Franklin, stretched between Cool Springs Boulevard and McEwen Drive, the Avalon community encompasses more than 600 acres divided into 5 neighborhoods: The Meade of Avalon, The Villages of Avalon, The Hamlets of Avalon, The Vale of Avalon and The Tors of Avalon.

The Vale and Tors of Avalon are gated and located in the center of Cool Springs, just 5 minutes from I-65, 8 minutes from CoolSprings Galleria Mall, within 10 minutes from some of the most popular restaurants in town, and roughly 30 minutes from Nashville. They’re also zoned for top-rated Williamson County Schools – Clovercroft Elementary, Woodland Middle, Ravenwood High.

The communities of Avalon sought to bring back the mystique and mythic like beauty of nature that the mythology of Camelot speaks fondly of. Once you cross the gates, the community offers the peace and calm of resort with hills and valleys and wildlife despite being in the center of everything. Part of what keeps the balance of everything is the dedication to keeping more than 300 acres of the land dedicated to natural environment for the native wild turkeys, deer, and other wildlife in the area.

Homes in the community are varied with different acreage and size of homes ranging in price from roughly $400,000 to more than $6 million, though the luxury neighborhoods of Tors and Vale of Avalon range on the higher end of that range starting at $1.2 millon.

There’s currently brand new homes and undeveloped lots available. If you’re looking for a place that gives you a private home resort away from the bustle of life where you can build your dream house, they have opportunities available for just that.
