Don’t worry if you missed the opening of the highly anticipated Target collaboration with designer Prabal Gurung, there are still plenty of items to shop! At our local Target, the first to go was the floral blazer, blue leather jacket and floral shorts. All three items were very low in stock; however, the rest of the collection is still readily available. It seemed no one was interested in the neon yellow ruffle dress, the bright colored tanks, or some of the ill- fitting dresses.
The favorite of the collection is a black lace top, which appears to be pretty sheer at the bottom. A camisole could easily remedy that if you’d rather not show too much skin. The other ever-so-chic item is the black and white bow dress that is currently sold out locally. Don’t forget the shoes, neon green heels, multi stripe heels, black pumps and red sandals.
Overall, the collection is so-so. Its still a much better collaboration then Target had Neiman Marcus, who brought us big name designers, but also items that were not in keeping their traditional field. For instance, Rag & Bone, which is best known for their denim items, contributed a sweater to the Neiman Marcus collaboration…
