Westhaven Porchfest, a music and art festival that transforms porches into performance stages and streets into a makers fair, takes place today, Saturday, June 18th from 4 – 10pm. Located in Southern Land Company’s Franklin community Westhaven, this year’s event will feature more than 100 musicians and over 50 of Tennessee’s highest quality local makers, crafters and artisans.
One of the many artisans is Joe Bostick, who will have his artwork on display and for sale at this year’s event.
Originally from Nashville, Joe has been an artist for over 20 years and a graphic design/web artist for over 10 years. Joe grew up taking advanced art classes at an early age and graduated from the School of Communication Arts in Raleigh, North Carolina. He came back to his hometown upon graduating and began working as a web/graphics freelancer.
Joe has also recently entered the field of tattoo designing. He has been tattooing since October 2013 at One Drop Ink in Nashville.
