Ravenwood High School graduate Venkata Amarthaluru was named the 2013 State AP Scholar for Tennessee. One male and one female are awarded this honor yearly in each of the 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. The criteria is a score of 3 or higher on the greatest number of AP exams, and then the highest average score of at least 3.5 on all exams taken.
The AP Scholar Awards are academic distinctions that students may cite among their credentials on applications, and resumes. Venkata will be attending Duke University. Congratulations to Ravenwood and Venkata on this accomplishment.
