Parks & Rec. Wants Senior Input

Seniors (55 and older) are encouraged to complete a survey of interests offered by the Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department (WCPR) on their website, www.wcparksandrec.com, under the Seniors tab/Activities. Seniors who complete and return the survey by April 24 will be eligible for a prize drawing.

WCPR offers specialized programs and classes for seniors at the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill, 2909 Commonwealth Dr., the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Rd., and the Williamson County Recreation Complex at Nolensville, 7250 Nolensville Rd. Surveys should be mailed or dropped off at one of these locations.

The survey will provide valuable input on what type of activities seniors want, as well as the ways WCPR can enhance senior lives and help open doors to new friends and experiences.

Williamson County Parks and Recreation is a public organization, here to benefit the community. Anyone may register for and participate in the department’s programs, teams, classes and events.
