Calling all Predators fans!
Harpeth Community Church is hosting a rare, FREE, community event called ‘An Evening with Mike Fisher.’ Guests will get to hear Mike Fisher from the Nashville Predators speak Thurs, Aug 29th.
Fisher will tell his story about growing up in church, his struggles, playing hockey in a very difficult environment and the challenges he faces as a Christian in a world where he and his wife, Carrie Underwood, are constantly in the lime light.
Fisher hails from Canada and is a forward for the Nashville Predators. As a hockey player, Fisher has become known for aggressive plays, speed and incredible skill. Beyond his hockey skills, Fisher is known for his Christian attitude and lifestyle. You can learn more about Fisher’s faith by checking out a book called Defender of Faith: the Mike Fisher Story by Kim Washburn with a special note by Mike Fisher. This book is available on Amazon.
Don’t miss his speech next Thursday from7p-9p. Bring your friends, family and even children (ages 10 and older with parental discretion) to this great community event. This is a non ticketed event.
