1. Knee-High Naturalist

WHAT: Young children, ages 3-5 years old, with an adult will explore the natural world through a series of topics led by an Owl’s Hill Environmental Educator. Each week has a different focus emphasizing working together through discovery, crafts, and outdoor exploration.
No strollers or unregistered siblings, please. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Fees are per adult/child pair.
This week’s topic is Animal Senses.
Cost: $54/ 6-week series (Adult + Child)

2. Mom’s Morning Out – Make Any Canvas and Wood Project!

WHAT: AR Workshop is hosting a DIY class to make one of their many Wood Projects including Plank Wood Sign, Porch Sign, Bath Tray, Framed Wood Sign, Round Lazy Susan, Centerpiece Box, Wood Clock, Plank Wood Tray, Cake Stand, Pedestal Tray, or Wood Photo Frame. In the workshop, you will have the opportunity to customize your project with your choice of designer paints and (non-toxic!) stain colors.

3. Theater Group at Spring Hill Library

WHAT: Learn basic acting and improvisation techniques while shining in one-of-a-kind plays throughout the school year. You’ll also learn voice, body, and movement techniques, plus theatrical makeup and costume design, all key for stage productions. For ages 12-18.

4. Thursday Trivia at Mill Creek Nolensville Taproom
WHAT: Join Mill Creek in bringing the neighborhood and families together every Thursday night for trivia in the taproom! Bring your family and friends and show off your years of retaining random facts! Test your knowledge and share some laughs and sighs (“I knew that one!”) in a family and pet-friendly environment.

5. Hawkins Arcade: A Stranger Things Pop Up

WHAT: Now through Halloween, Headquarters Beercade will transform into a world of Stranger Things. The venue will have immersive photo ops, and Instagram worthy moments, as well as delicious specialty cocktails.
Immerse yourself into the world of Hawkins with interactive installations like an exact replica of the Byers living room with the iconic alphabet wall and flickering lights. The entire mezzanine of the restaurant has been transformed into the Upside Down, with an eerie glow of haunting blue lights, cascading branches and leaves, a rotting pumpkin patch, and a cocooned Will Byers–all under the watchful eye of the infamous Demagorgon and more.
A few examples of the themed cocktails you can expect are: Eleven – This powerful cocktail combines peach-infused bourbon maple syrup, lemon and mint. A garnish of mini Eggo waffles will have you believing in your own telepathic abilities. The Mind Flayer – House-made apple cinnamon Jameson, cranberry juice, and apple cider blend together in the most refreshing fall cocktail that will turn your world, well, upside down…
