Avery*Sunshine and her musical partner (now husband) and guitarist Dana “Big Dane” Johnson, have collectively either collaborated and/or toured with everyone from Anthony Hamilton, KEM, Will Downing, Gregory Porter, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Babyface and Roy Ayers to B.B. King, Michael Buble, and Jennifer Holliday.

The Atlanta based singer’s no holds barred signature soul/R&B sound has also made believers of such luminaries as Patti LaBelle, Berry Gordy, and Boy George, who proclaimed on twitter “@averysunshine love this woman’s voice.”

2. Taking Back Sunday at Marathon Music Works

Taking Back Sunday will be performing their debut album Tell All Your Friends in its entirety. For tour stops where the band is performing over two nights, each nightly set will offer a double-album play – using a specially designed coin, Taking Back Sunday will flip to play either Where You Want To Be or Louder Now, in addition to Tell All Your Friends.

3. Swervedriver with Milly at Mercy Lounge

Swervedriver: Swervedriver is an English alternative rock band formed in Oxford in 1989 around core members Adam Franklin and Jimmy Hartridge. Between 1989 and 1998, the band released four studio albums and numerous EPs and singles despite a considerable flux of members, managers, and record labels.

Milly: Milly is the new musical project from Seth Milberger and Johnny Grushecky. After years of being in various bands together (The Composure, The I Drive), the two formed Milly in 2014. Milly has just finished recording their debut album with producer Jim Wirt (Jack’s Mannequin, Incubus, The Rocket Summer) and is set to release it sometime this year.

4. Maren Morris: Girl the World Tour at Ascend Amphitheater
