Judge Bean’s BBQ announced the closures of their Franklin restaurant, located at 509 Hillsboro Road.

The restaurant posted a message on Facebook Monday stating the Franklin location was officially closed but the original location in Brentwood remains open.

It is with great regret that we announce the closing of our Franklin location (Brentwood remains open!). We tried to re-create the same atmosphere, service and quality of food in Franklin that people have enjoyed for years in Brentwood.

They continued by saying, But for whatever reason, it just didn’t work out. It didn’t go down without great commitment and effort, however. We’d specifically like to thank general manager Nicholas Anneken and the many workers who put their time and effort into trying to build a sustainable business and thank all of the citizens of Franklin who gave us a shot. Unfortunately, for all involved, it just didn’t work out. Please come visit us in Brentwood! Any and all coupons or special offers specific to the Franklin location will be honored in Brentwood.

The Franklin location opened back in 2017 with co-owners Bobby Burton and Andy Johnson who also own the Brentwood location, which opened in 2010.

To date, there have been three restaurants to occupy the restaurant space at 509 Hillsboro Road. Rooster Beane and Mickey Bodden opened the Texas-roadhouse restaurant Mickey Roos in December 2005. In 2016, Jack and Jameson’s opened but closed about a year and a half later, stating they planned to open in a new location. Jack and Jameson’s Smokehouse Facebook page has not been updated since October 2017 and there’s no news of a new location.
