The Franklin Police Department is proud of the fact that Governor Bill Lee has appointed our Chief of Police, Deborah Faulkner, to the Tennessee POST Commission.
The Tennessee Peace Officers Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) Commission is responsible for developing and enforcing standards and training for all Tennessee Police Officers. The Commission also promotes continuing law enforcement training. The Commission is comprised of 18 members and includes local law enforcement personnel, legislators, and Tennessee citizens who are not connected with law enforcement.
City Administrator Eric Stuckey said, “This appointment demonstrates Chief Faulkner’s commitment to excellence in law enforcement and will benefit the citizens of Franklin and the State of Tennessee.”
