This year marks the eighth consecutive year for Westhaven’s Concert on the Lawn Series, a free summer concert series, presented by the Westhaven Foundation. This year’s series will be sponsored by Franklin Synergy Bank, which opened a branch in Westhaven’s Town Center last June.
The Concert on the Lawn Series begins May 17th with music by the Wooten Brothers. Concert begins at 7pm, with a VIP Dinner at 6p. Music will take place on the Great Lawn, behind the Westhaven Resident’s Club. The VIP Dinner will be in Townsend Hall. This year’s VIP dinner will have a Motown Theme. Cost is $45 per person. Concert patrons are invited to bring their own food and drinks or food can be purchased from Brown Bag Catering, in the Pool Café Building.
The Westhaven Foundation is an independent nonprofit organization founded by residents of Westhaven. Together with Southern Land Company, the Westhaven Foundation strives to promote “lifelong learning, leadership, preservation, philanthropy and environmental awareness within Westhaven and the greater Franklin community” (source).
