Brentwood went down the road to MTSU hoping for a trip to the Semifinals of the TSSAA Class AAA State Championships. However, powerhouse Oak Ridge was just too much for the Bruins to overcome.
It was a close game throughout, with the Bruins finding themselves only 1 point down at the half 20-19.
Bruins shot 81% from the charity stripe. They couldn’t get their 3s going though as they were 2-17 from that range and only shot 37% from the field. Oak ridge shot 43% .

Kellen King and Reed Smith both led the way with 15 points each for Brentwood. The duo also led the way with 11 total rebounds for the Bruins.
Oak Ridge will face Memphis East on Friday. Brentwood’s season ends at 26-9.
