Be One of the First to Own the Franklin Coloring Book

After creating an adult coloring book inspired by popular locations throughout Nashville, Franklin resident and owner of Made South, Chris Thomas, has finished his next project – a Franklin coloring book.

Last August, Thomas started a Kickstarter campaign for his Nashville Coloring Book. Enlisting the help of friend and illustrator, Caleb Faires, the Nashville coloring book features places like Broadway, the Johnny Cash Museum, a map of East Nashville, Arnold’s Country Kitchen and more.

Thomas says you can expect favorite places and landmarks in the 60-page Franklin coloring book, but he’s keeping the details a secret.

“It will celebrate Franklin’s great local culture as well as its rich history,” says Thomas.

Giving back is a key component to the project. A portion of the sales from the Nashville coloring book were given to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital and sales from the Franklin Coloring book will benefit New Hope Academy in Franklin.

“We are targeting March 1 for a release date for The Franklin Coloring Book. Presales will be exclusively through VisitFranklin.com and we’re working with them to set the presale launch date. $1 from the sale of each book will go to New Hope Academy, so we’re really excited about that,” says Thomas.

You can now order the Franklin Coloring book for $15.95  online on the Visit Franklin website. The first 100 people to order also get a free pack of mini colored pencils.  Pre-orders end February 28.

Psst…we’re working on something really fun with @madesouth. 🎉  Stay tuned for pre-orders! #FranklinTN
