6. LongHorn Steakhouse

Status: Open

On the same day Zaxby’s opened (January 30), LongHorn Steakhouse also held its grand opening in Spring Hill.

With a lasso-cutting ceremony and dedication from Mayor Rick Graham, LongHorn opened their doors.

“It was very nice welcoming LongHorn to Spring Hill,” Graham said. “They add another great choice to our wide selection of dining opportunities, so people don’t have to drive as far, which reduces our traffic. I predict they will be quite successful in Spring Hill.”

The steakhouse is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Located at 2040 Crossings Blvd, LongHorn is led by Dago Melendez as managing partner.

Members of Spring Hill’s city government, as well as, hungry customers were there on opening day.

Kayce Williams, the city’s economic development coordinator and former alderman, was one of the first inside.

Additionally, LongHorn is still hiring for all positions, including servers, bartenders, line cooks and more. Interested applicants can go here or apply in person.

The restaurant will create 50 to 60 jobs in Spring Hill. It seats 200.

In the area, LongHorn operates locations on Old Hickory Boulevard near Brentwood, on Murfreesboro Pike in Nashville, and on Medical Center Parkway in Murfreesboro.
