Kid President wants to know what it takes to be a hero everyday. To find out, he takes a moment to talk with Tim Honks, errr, Tom Hanks, star of DreamWorks Studios new film Bridge of Spies, to finds out who his hero is, and what we can all do to be everyday heroes!
Never seen Kid President before?
Kid President is the adorable Robby Novak, a young actor who portrays the character Kid President online and on television. He is featured in a series of YouTube videos and in a television show, produced by Soul Pancake.
The writer/director of Kid President, Brad Montague created the very first Kid President video in July of 2012 out of the simple belief that kids have voices worth listening to. Montague lives and works in Tennessee. As he says on his site:
“For years, my family and I have been working to create things in an effort to help shape the way kids see the world and the way the world sees kids. This was just a continuation of that work.
It began as just a few videos we made for fun. My younger brother-in-law Robby (who plays the character of Kid President in the videos) is one of my favorite people to spend time with. He and I love making things together and never dreamed our journey would take us the places it has (the White House, the UN, meeting Beyoncé, etc).
I believe kids can change the world. I also believe grown ups can change the world. It just takes all of us working together.”
As Kid President says, Love changes everything. So fill the world with it.
