Williamson Medical Center Tree of Life

The official lighting of the Williamson Medical Center’s 27th annual Tree of Life honors 230 loved ones. “We believe this grand tree in our lobby is a great way to celebrate not only the holiday season, but also the spirit of Williamson Medical Center,” says Russell Little, WMC Board of Trustees chairman. “Many of the loved ones being honored are called mom, dad, son, daughter, brother, sister, grandmother or grandfather, and still others we call co-workers and friends.”

This fundraiser collected more than $3,000 and honors friends and family who have impacted the lives of others or continue to touch lives today. The 75 members of the WMC’s Volunteer Auxiliary have a mission to enhance the patient and visitor experience and make their hospital stay more comfortable.

“For years, the Volunteer Auxiliary has played an integral role in building WMC’s reputation as a high quality, advanced, regional medical provider,” says Donald Webb, chief executive officer. “We appreciate our volunteers for all they do to support Williamson Medical Center.” The Auxiliary gave back nearly $100,000 to the Medical Center, supporting special needs within the Obstetrics and Security departments. In addition, the organization funded $10,000 in scholarships for Williamson County students pursuing nursing degrees.
