Unique Gift from Puckett’s

Need a Unique Gift for the Holidays? Then help Puckett’s Grocery and Restaurant as the team up with the historic Hatch Show Print Company to offer a limited-edition “Be Real Get Local” poster. Only 100 of these were created by Hatch for Puckett’s to sell at their downtown Franklin and Nashville locations. Proceeds will benefit the Nashville Rescue Mission and Mercy Children’s Clinic.

Each location will have 50 limited edition numbered posters for only $25. The idea is to help raise awareness for the two non-profits. “Both of these groups do so much for our communities in Middle Tennessee, and our family here is honored to be able to give back to them this season,” said Andy Marshall. “We started this project as a way to raise awareness for the organizations and their missions, but we wanted to be able to contribute financially as well.”

The iconic Nashville-based Hatch Show Print is one of the oldest working letterpress print shops in the nation, and has become a Music City treasure since its handbill printing days 133 years ago. In recent years, Hatch prints have been commissioned by Anthropologie, CNN, the New York Times, Nissan and Nordstrom, among others. “We’ve known for a long time that a Hatch Show poster was something we wanted to do, but it wasn’t until we started discussing our plans for Christmas fundraising that we found the right time to do it,” said Amy Whidby, marketing director for the Puckett’s restaurants.

It’s not the only time this holiday season that Puckett’s at 5th and Church will partner with the Mission. On Sunday, Dec. 17, the eatery will play host to 100 men in the Mission’s life-recovery program for a full night of food and live music. “These men stand in line for a meal three times a day. It will be special for them to actually go to a restaurant, to order from a menu and to be served,” said Puckett’s Nashville Manager Clair Crowell. “Though the Hatch Show print is completely separate from this event, this night came about after learning of the Mission’s different programs.”
