Looking for something to do this weekend? Look no further. We’ve got not 10 but 11 amazing events happening in (or very near) Williamson County this weekend.

1. Franklin Parks Family Day

When: Sat, Oct 3rd, 10a-2p
Where: Harlinsdale Farm, 239 Franklin Road (across from The Factory)
What: The 2015 Franklin Parks Family Day is a free festival open to the public, with loads of kids activities like: miniature train rides, hay rides, pony rides, a petting zoo, and a horsemanship obstacle competition and so much more.

2. Fall Fun Day, Bowie Nature Park

When: Sat, Oct 3rd, 10a-4p
Where: Bowie Nature Park, 7211 Bowie Lake Road, Fairview
What: Bowie is hosting a free fall carnival in the woods, with games and crafts for the kids, face painting, a hayride and hike, plus a costume parade at 1 p.m. with prizes. Learn more at www.bowiepark.org.

3. Alpaca Farm Open House

When: Sat, Oct 3rd 10a-3p & Sun, Oct 4th 12p-4p
Where: 3400 Floyd Road, in historic Leiper’s Fork
What: Bring the family to visit an alpaca farm–there will be food vendors, local merchants, alpaca goods and, of course, alpacas!
Cost: Free

4. Muletown Musicfest

When: Sat, Ot 3rd, beginning at 10am
Where: Downtown Columbia, on historic public square
What: The fest kicks off Saturday with FREE children’s events, Maury County restaurant options, an “instrument petting zoo,” and FREE music, music, music.
Cost: (mostly) free: there will be no charge for entry into the downtown area or enjoying most of the musical venues. Some music events are ticketed.

5. 12th Annual Country Ham Festival

When: Sat, Oct 3rd 10a-7p
Where: on the grounds of TN Children’s Home, 804 Branham Blvd, Spring Hill
What: The ham festival promises loads of fun with live music, a kids zone with huge inflatables, food vendors, arts and crafts, live music, hot air balloon rides and more!

6. Franklin Art Scene

When: Fri, Oct 2nd 6p-9p
Where: Historic Downtown Franklin
What: The monthly art crawl, organized by the Downtown Franklin Association, takes place the first Friday of each month in the community’s historic core and features 30-plus locations throughout the downtown Franklin area. This Friday’s locations will exhibit the best of the Williamson County art world with photography exhibits, original paintings from the abstract to the figurative as well as striking woodwork.

7. 7th Annual Grey Ghost 5K

When: Sat, Oct 3rd 8a
Where: Oak Lawn Plantation, 3331 Denning Lane, Spring Hill
What: The race benefits Partners 4 Parks which is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, passionate group that promotes health and wellness through the enhancement of passive and active parks, greenways, and open space.
Cost: $35 for 5K, $10 for kids races

8. Franklin Family Fun Night

When: Sat, Oct 3rd 6p-11p
Where: A-Game Sportsplex
What: It’s fun for a cause at A-Game. Saturday night, you and the kids can come out and enjoy an evening of fun while helping Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee. Blow UP Balls, a Zumbathon, Dodge Ball, A Dance Party, Laser Tag , Camp Brick Lego Fun,Basketball, Indoor Soccer, Photo Booth  and a special appearance by Matt Poe. There will even be a special appearance by a professional baseball player.

9. 6th Annual Grape Stomp Festival

When: Sat, Oct 3rd 3p-6p
Where: O’More College of Design, 105 Lewisburg Pike, Franklin
What: Think Lucille Ball–Teams will stomp grapes barefoot in competition against others in a tournament bracket-style competition. Teams are often dressed in costume as well! Wine vendors are also on site. This event is sponsored by A Vintage Affair, a non-profit which raises money through various events for Williamson County charities benefiting women and children in need.

10. Front Street Craft Brew Celebration

When: Sat, Oct 3rd 4p-10p
Where: Westhaven community adjacent to the lake on Front Street, 1001 Westhaven, 188 Front Street, Franklin
What: Attendees will have the opportunity to sample 30+ exceptional craft beers. Many of these great brews will be from the best Southern craft & micro breweries, some from right here in middle Tennessee. It’s also a great time to enjoy a Bellaterra cigar and enjoy live entertainment beginning at 7 pm with The World Turning, a fantastic Fleetwood Mac tribute band and other music.

11. Studio Tenn Presents “Gypsy”

When: Showtimes are: 7pm Thurs & Fri Oct 1-2; 2pm & 7pm on Sat, Oct 3rd and 2pm only on Sun, Oct 4th.
Where: Jamison Hall at The Factory at Franklin
What: This weekend is your last chance to see Studio Tenn’s “Gypsy”. “Gypsy” is loosely based on the memoirs of real-life burlesque star Gypsy Rose Lee, adapted for stage by Arthur Laurents (book), Jule Styne (music) and Stephen Sondheim (lyrics). The show debuted on Broadway in 1959 to much acclaim and has been hailed by New York Times theatre critics as “one of the most enduring creations of the American theater” and “the kind of revival we cannot have too much of.”
