sobriety checkpoint ahead sheriff

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting sobriety roadside safety checkpoints in the evening hours on these dates:

Friday, December 13, 2019 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Goose Creek Bypass

Wednesday, December 18, 2019 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Hwy. 96E at 840

Sunday, December 22, 2019 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Hwy 96E at N. Chapel

Tuesday, December 31, 2019 11 p.m. – 1 a.m. Caruthers Parkway

The WCSO wants you to have a safe and happy holiday season, and they are urging everyone to drive safely and responsibly. If you are out celebrating with alcohol, use a designated driver. The Sheriff’s Office reminds drivers to be patient when driving because there will be more traffic during the holiday period and people will be in a rush to get to their destinations. And, when you drive or ride, always use your seatbelt even if you are traveling a short distance.

These efforts to stop impaired and irresponsible driving are paid for with grant money from the Tennessee Highway Safety Office
