According to the last issue of In Focus there were only 41 days left in the count down for school to open. The Williamson County Schools (WCS) calendar says that students return to school on August 9th for a half-day and August 12 for a full day of learning.
The WCS system has also developed a quick way for parents, students, staff and the community to keep up to date on school happenings. They have launched a new mobile app free on iTunes and Google Play. “The WCS app will be a great mobile resource for our students and community,” said WCS Instructional Technology Coordinator Belinda Moss. “The app pulls together key district information from four communication sources into one tool. Students can also use the app on their BYOT devices to record assignments and report concerns.”
Viewing and sharing of calendar events, access maps, contact information, lunch menus and more will all be at your fingertips. You can access the online parent portal to view grades, assignments and use the tip line to report concerns. You can even read In Focus and watch the latest WCS videos all from this app.
Go online now to your iTunes App Store or Goggle Play Store and search “Williamson County School.” Then download and enjoy.
