During January, the Williamson County Animal Control and Adoption Center will be offering $20 off the regular adoption fees for both dogs ($85) and cats ($50). Adoption fees include spay/neuter, microchip and all vaccinations.
The WCACAC knows that there really is “no place like home,” especially for shelter pets! “ Pets and people need each other,” says shelter director Laura Chavarria. “During January, we are using a “Wizard of Oz” theme to promote adoptions. We have plenty of dogs and cats that are looking for their ‘forever homes, and we thought the Oz theme of love and acceptance would be lots of fun.”
For information about shelter services, call (615) 790-5590 or stop by the center, located next to Franklin High School. Adoptable animals can be viewed at www. adoptwcac.org or at the center from 10 a.m. to 6p.m. Monday through Friday, or 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
