Take An Excursion to Peru in “Passport to the World” Series

Peru will be the topic of discussion at this Sunday’s “Passport to the World” Series at the Williamson County Library, presented by Sister Cities of Franklin and Williamson County.

On Sunday, November 3rd at 2pm, guests will be transporting to beautiful Peru in this great, family friendly educational series. Activities include:  folklore dancing presentation by a children’s group, a taste of Peruvian fare, which includes Inca, Amerindian and Spanish influences, guest speakers from Peru, including Leonela Villegas Cardenas, Patricia Soriana and Vilma V. Cueva.

“This series is designed to assist our community in becoming globally competent and passionate citizens of the world,” said Patricia Kriebel, Sister Cities of Franklin and Williamson County.
