A petition has been created on Change.org for the resignation of District 12 Williamson County School Board Member Susan Curlee.
The petition was started by Courtenay Rogers of Franklin and it states:
“Since Susan Curlee began serving on the Williamson County School board in September 2014, she has:
Publicly attacked parents, board members, and the Superintendent of Schools. Dr. Mike Looney, on her Facebook page, on other social media, and at board meetings.
We, the undersigned citizens of Williamson County, find Ms. Curlee’s actions unacceptable, as they have placed our top-performing district at risk of losing a strong, visionary, and principled leader.
We are, again, exercising our rights and responsibilities as citizens to make our voices heard.
Signers of this petition respectfully communicate a loss of confidence in Ms. Curlee, as a member of the Williamson County School Board, to serve the students and families of Williamson County Schools.”
