The 10th Annual Nashville Originals Restaurant Week is an amazing time to satisfy your palette and your pocket book at the same time. All week, fabulous local dining establishments will offer special menus and price points so you can sample their delicacies and satisfy your curiosity about the establishment in style.
Today begins the week of deals, which runs through the 25th. More than 30 area restaurants are participating and all of them are members of the not-for-profit independent restaurant association known as Nashville Originals. From casual eateries to fine dining you have it all with Nashville Originals Restaurant week. Local merchants involved include Puckett’s Boat House, 55 South, Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant, Saffire, Cork & Cow, Cross Corner and Red Pony.
“Restaurant Week is a celebration of Nashville’s incredible dining scene, and the importance of supporting locally owned restaurants,” said Tom Loventhal, president of Nashville Originals. “What we eat matters, and where we eat becomes a part of our culture. These restaurants are supporting each other, employing local people and buying from local suppliers. That’s what community is all about.”
Many participating restaurants are offering three-course dinners featuring an appetizer or salad, entrée and dessert for $20.13. At other member restaurants, three-course dinners for $30.13 are on the menu. Nero’s Grill and Noshville locations are giving diners even bigger incentives: Nero’s two-course lunch menu is only $12.13, while at Noshville Delicatessen two diners eat for $20.13 at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Locally, you can enjoy 55 South’s shrimp ‘n’ grits or a slow-smoked pork belly BLT with avocado sauce from Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant in downtown Franklin. Restaurants taking part include: 55 South, 417 Union, Bound’ry, CABANA, Caffe Nonna, Cross Corner Bar & Grill, Crow’s Nest, F. Scott’s Restaurant & Jazz Bar, Germantown Café, Holland House Bar & Refuge, Jackson’s, Jimmy Kelly’s Steakhouse, McCabe Pub, Mere Bulles, Midtown Café, Nero’s Grill, Noshville Delicatessen, The Pineapple Room at Cheekwood, PM, Provence Breads & Café, Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant, Puckett’s Boat House, Red Pony, Saffire, Silly Goose, Sunset Grill, Suzy Wong’s House of Yum, Table 3, Tin Angel, Valentino’s Ristorante, Watermark Restaurant, Wild Iris, Cork & Cow and The Yellow Porch.
