Franklin Mayor Ken Moore is officially announcing his campaign for re-election as mayor in the City of Franklin municipal election to be held on October 27, 2015.
“One of the greatest honors of my life has been serving as Mayor of the City of Franklin,” said Moore. “In partnership with our citizens, civic and business leaders and our dedicated city employees, we have made meaningful progress over the past four years in addressing our transportation and infrastructure needs, recruiting thousands of new jobs, and making significant gains in the area of historic preservation, while keeping our taxes among the lowest in the state. I’m eager to build on this success and take our city to even greater heights in the next four years.”
Since the end of 2014, Moore has raised over $50,000 in contributions towards his re-election effort and has over $66,000 cash on hand, according to a press release from Mayor Moore.
“I’m humbled by the strong financial support of so many in our community. We are well-positioned to run an aggressive campaign and communicate to the citizens of Franklin our commitment to another four years of sound fiscal management, smart and balanced growth, leading with integrity and responding to the needs of our community.”
