It’s been almost five years since Little Star Kids’ Gear opened for business next to Whole Foods on McEwen in Franklin, and now the store will close next week.
In an email message to customers, owners Rebecca Lee and Brea DeTray wrote
“WOW!!! It has been over 12 years since we began this retail journey together! And we still love sharing life!
A lot has changed in those years:
2 stores- Pickles and Ice Cream and Little Star at 2 locations
5 energetic kids between our 2 families!
Countless new fantastic friends and employees that we now consider part of our families!
We have LOVED our time in retail but like many wonderful things, we have come to its end!
Our lease is up at the end of June and we will close this chapter in our lives!
As we have loved this opportunity, we both strongly hear the Lord calling us to be ready for our next adventure.
We are confident in that decision but at the same time sad to go!
We have loved serving our community and walking with so many people through their parenthood journey!”
