The Franklin Hot Air Balloon Festival was held in Westhaven Saturday, May 14th. Tickets sold out to this inaugural event.
The event included craft vendors, live music, food trucks, KidZone, tethered rides and bysister duo-Mersi Stone, Brian Ritchey, Sara Syms, Flat River Band, and Great Peacock. The evening ended with a “glow” as balloons inflated and lit up the Franklin skyline.
A portion of the ticket sales supported Mercy Community Healthcare. Mercy provides healthcare to children as well as adults in our area regardless of their ability to pay.
