More than 350 guests attended the Fabulous Friends for Africa Valentine’s Party on Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Factory and raised nearly $90,000 for African Leadership. In its tenth year, the event has raised approximately $690,000 for African Leadership, a  local 501c(3) organization that is committed to providing church leaders with theological education and come alongside these leaders as they work to impact their local communities across the continent.

Partnering with African Leadership, proceeds raised this year through the party will benefit women and children across Africa who have been through traumatic experiences, like poverty or trafficking.

The guests danced to the music of Sam Levine and the City Lights Band and the buffet dinner was catered by G’s Catering.

The Fabulous Friends for Africa include Audra Beachy, Jane Carroll, Betty Cope, Cilla Crane, Susan Davis, Laura Eddleman, Martha Greenwood, Julie Hawley, Terrie Hill, Sally McCorkle and Beverly Spellings.
