After 27 years in downtown Franklin, the children’s boutique For Every Child lost its lease. Owner Dale Knight said her rent had quadrupled and other lease requirements were outside of their budget to stay in their location.
After searching for a new location, For Every Child has found a temporary new home in Cool Springs at 2000 Meridian Boulevard, Suite 118, with the same hours of operation, Monday – Saturday 10 am – 5:30 pm. While Knight is happy to have a new location, this space is only temporary as she waits for their new location to be completed in Berry Farms later this year.
Knight said, ” We are settled at this location and love it when some old faces show up. We have lots of wonderful Spring and Summer clothes, especially tween sizes, and many toys and gifts. And as always, free gift wrapping on all regular priced merchandise when desired. It will be several months before we can move permanently so please come see us. We are just a few doors down from Tupelo Honey Restaurant and are waiting for you!”
To keep up to date on For Every Child, follow them on Facebook and stay with Williamson Source as we keep you updated on when they will move to their permanent location.
For Every Child is fully stocked with items perfect for Easter, summer events and even communion dresses. Shoppers will find clothing in a variety of sizes from preemie to tween sizes 16 for girls and boys size preemie to size 7. You’ll also find baby gift items, baby blankets, shoes and toys.
For Every Child originally opened in 1990 on Main Street in downtown Franklin and relocated a few years later its former location on 5th Avenue, next to Starbucks.
