Check Out The Coffee House at Second and Bridge

The Coffee House at Second and Bridge is a charming place to relax, eat, hang out and even work. One of the many things I love about The Coffee House is the way it makes me feel when I’m there. The décor, the seating and the friendly staff creates a welcoming, even calming atmosphere. Many times, coffee shops seem crowded, the music is too loud and the staff too impatient. Not so at The Coffee House at Second and Bridge. The Coffee House’s rooms are cleverly labeled The Library, The Café, The Tea Room etc..and books line several bookcases throughout the home as well as atop the fireplace mantel. All of these elements really contribute to a comfy vibe.

Another element of The Coffee House that I love is the food! The menu at The Coffee House is more diverse than anything I’ve seen at other coffee shops. From baked goods to salads to bagels served with just about anything on them to a plethora of crepes, there’s something to satisfy any craving you may have. Personally, I could eat a Coffee House Bagel Smash Up (your choice of bagel, served with cream cheese, nutella, strawberries and pecans) any day of the week or a Coffee House Club Salad (fresh greens, strawberries, pecans, ham and vinaigrette) any day of the week.

Let’s not forget about the coffee–The Coffee House also serves locally roasted 100% FairTrade & Organic coffees from Bongo Java. But, if you’re not a coffee drinker, you can get smoothies and teas at The Coffee House too. You can even order beer! An ice-cold beer and a soft pretzel at The Coffee House is a great way to unwind after work.

All in all, The Coffee House at Second and Bridge, is one of my new favorite places to go, because it is such an enjoyable experience being there.
