Williamson Source conducted a traffic survey a few months ago, in which respondents were asked questions about commuting, problematic intersections, if they use school transportation and how they perceive traffic in Williamson County.
With a total of over 1,023 responses, 134 respondents were from Brentwood, making 10% of the survey results voiced from the Brentwood area. Currently, the Census Bureau estimates that Brentwood’s current population at 40,000 with a population growth of 10% from 2010 to 2014.
As Williamson Source compiled these results, one of the comments to the survey stated:
“The roads simply cannot handle the traffic during rush hours. Planning for growth was inadequate and citizens are paying the price for past incompetence.”
